Post 3: Continuity

Definition of continuity: is when a motion- picture scenario gives the complete scene, action etc. it is put in the order in which they are meant to be shown on the screen.


Shot/ reverse shot and 180 degrees rule.


 The shot/ reverse shot means that you show a person over the other persons shoulder and then you would do the same thing but face the camera on the different person.














 These two pictures show the idea of shot reverse shots. To understand this you have two people in the shot and in the first shot you can see person 1 over person 2 shoulder. In the next shot you can see person 2 over person 1 shoulder and this is the reverse shot.
